So................

CAMRA members are all middle aged men with beards eh?

Not so.

Wolverhampton branch has a thriving and active young members scene and has done for some years now. Our Young Members contact/ liaison officer is 30 and female!

Whilst we may do the typical things that one would expect, such as helping at festivals, campaigning on issues that affect pubs and ale, visiting breweries etc., we also focus on issues that affect young drinkers and have a varied social calendar too.

Our regular monthly Young Members meetings (at the Hogshead, Stafford Street, Wolverhampton) take place on the first Monday of the month at 7.30pm. They are well attended and provide an ideal opportunity to meet friends (or, indeed, make new ones) and share pub/beer news as well as organise future social events. Pub crawls and day trips always prove popular!

We are very lucky that the Young members regional co ordinator is also local, so if issues arise which we feel affect us, we can pass them on in the knowledge that they will be voiced.

So if you are aged 18 to 30 (ish), an existing member, new to CAMRA or just simply curious, why not seek us out?
